In order to realize "Zero Carbon Yokohama" decarbonization by 2050, Yokohama City launched the second phase of sales of "Hamako Electricity", a renewable electricity menu derived from the city's incineration plant, and started selling "Hamako Electric Plus", a new menu derived from renewable energy power plants located in local governments that have concluded a partnership agreement in April 2024.
This time, we agreed with the purpose of this project and presented a letter of appreciation to 17 businesses in the city who use the electricity. We will continue our efforts to spread renewable energy through wide-area collaboration with locally grown and consumed and continue to take on the challenge of achieving decarbonization.
