In August 2025, the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) will be held in Yokohama. As a host city, I am delighted to be able to welcome everyone from African countries, including the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, to Yokohama. As the closest city to Africa, we will continue to deepen our cooperation with people from all over Africa.
