Invited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan to Mayor's Residence to exchange views on economic exchanges with Thailand and further promoting intercity cooperation with Bangkok.
In 2013, Yokohama City signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation with the Bangkok Metropolitan Government, and last year, at the 12th Asia Smart City Conference hosted by Yokohama City, together with Governor Bangkok, announced a joint declaration aimed at promoting decarbonization in Asia. On June 21 this week, I will also attend a workshop on decarbonization business in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Government.
We will continue to work with the Kingdom of Thailand and Bangkok to decarbonize cities in Asia.
