I visited the Industrial Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Industry of Thailand and met with Mr. Pasacon Chairat, Director of the Ministry of Industry.
We confirmed that we would further promote economic exchange through the Yokohama City Asian Office, which has a desk within the bureau.
In addition, they visited the headquarters of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which is being developed by the Thai government, and met with Secretary-General Chula Skkumanop to confirm that they would cooperate toward carbon-neutral urban development.
Through these opportunities, we will continue to work with overseas government agencies to understand and cooperate with the city's efforts.
