Sakae Ward Hymn

In response to the voices of the inhabitants of the ward, Sakae Ward Hymn, in 1988, we recruited lyrics and songs to residents living in the ward, in response to the voices of the inhabitants of the ward, "Songs that can be sung together on various occasions." Among the entries submitted, three prize-winning works were selected: "Sakae Ward Hymns for Children: In a Town with Rivers", "Sakae Ward Hymns - Listen to the Earth-", and "Sakae Ward Hymns - Stop in My Town". Based on these three songs, the symphony poem "Sakae Ward Hymn" was arranged as an orchestral version by composer Kohei Fujita in March 1989.

Sakae Ward Mindo

The Sakae Ward Mindo was created in 1988 to commemorate the establishment of Sakae Ward. The lyrics are selected from among the residents of the ward and represent a bright and livable Sakae Ward. It is now an indispensable song for the summer festival in Sakae Ward, and is popular with many people.

I made a video of how to dance Sakae Ward Mindo. It has an easy-to-understand explanation even for those who are dancing for the first time.
