In the event of an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 or more in Yokohama, Seya Ward will establish a medical coordination team at Seya Ward disaster headquarters.
Under the advice of a disaster medical advisor (doctor), the Medical Coordination Group collects and disseminates information on medical resources, procures medical equipment and materials, coordinates support from other cities, and coordinates communication with emergency patients clinics on holidays.

Yokohama City is looking for nursing staff who can support medical rescue activities in the event of a disaster.

In Seya Ward, if there is an earthquake with a seismic intensity of less than 6 or if requested by the ward office with a seismic intensity of less than 6, we will gather at the pre-designated gathering place indicated on the “Y Nurse Registration Certificate” issued at the time of registration and provide emergency medical care.

Qualified public health nurses, midwives, nurses, and associate nurses who live or work in Yokohama City, who can provide support activities in evacuation shelter, etc. in the city when Yokohama City is damaged. (However, in principle, those who are supposed to attend the workplace in the event of a disaster, such as working at a hospital, are excluded.)
