Last updated on March 15, 2024.
Once upon a time, Tono carried small mountains in the north, springs all over the world, and the Tando River flows through and over the distance.
Near Tando, a peasant couple, a good worker, lived. They were working hard every day in the field. One day, a baby was born in this couple. But what happened, my wife doesn't have milk. The troubled couple prayed every day, "I hope milk will come out."
One day, when the owner went out to work in the field as usual, he found a clear spring that wets the surrounding grass and springs up near the ginkgo tree in Tono. The owner
"If you cook rice porridge with this water and feed it to your wife, milk may come out."
I thought I put the water in a bamboo tube and took it home, cooked rice porridge immediately and fed it to my wife. Then, mysteriously, milk that had never come out until now comes out, and I am delighted with it.
"This is also thanks to that fountain, that fountain is the god of milk."
And the couple joined hands toward the spring of Tono. After drinking the milk, the baby grew up quickly and quickly.
Eventually, this story was transmitted, and Tono's Izumi was a god of milk, and not only from nearby people, but also from distant villages, mothers came to pray for `` milk coming out '' It means that you brought back the water.
The ginkgo tree on the banks of the fountain was cherished as a sacred tree, and Ema, a prayer for the people, was dedicated, and at the bottom of the fountain there was always rice and money.
