Last updated on January 14, 2025.
In Yokohama City Council, high school students from Yokohama visit City Counsil to foster the ability of younger generations to participate in society and politics.
On Monday, December 23, 2024, 20 municipal high school students (Sakuragaoka, Tozuka (all day), East, South, Yokohama Commercial) visited Yokohama City Council to experience the flow of the plenary session, and five city council members (INAMI Toshinosuke, Emiko Ichiki, Noriko Okuda, and Naoya Owada).
From the students who participated
・"I was able to know that each member of the Diet became a member of the Diet with various aspirations."
・"I thought that talking about my surroundings would have a positive impact on politics."
・"Even if I asked the same question, I felt that there were different answers depending on the lawmakers and each method was different."
I received comments like this.
