Chair and Vice Chair

The Chair and Vice-Chair are elected from among the Members of the Diet.
The Chair represents the City Counsil and maintains the order of the floor to facilitate the proceedings. It is also the chairman's task to organize and process various affairs in City Counsil.
The Vice-Chair will also perform the duties of the Chair when he cannot perform his duties due to a business trip or illness.
