Totsuka Music Town Planning Business “Music Town and Tsuka”

Totsuka Ward is promoting the “Totsuka Music Town Development Project” as part of its vibrant and attractive urban development. In this project, we are promoting the creation of the appeal of “Music Town and Tsuka” by providing opportunities for people who perform music activities mainly in Totsuka Ward and providing residents with opportunities to get acquainted with music.

♪The third Saturday of every month is Totsuka Music Day♪
On the third Saturday of every month, we hold a “Kumin Hall Concert” at the ward office 3rd floor inhabitant hall, and a “Totsuka Street Live” (except August, September, and March) at the Tozuka station deck. You can enjoy music of various genres around Totsuka Station. Please feel free to drop in during shopping and outings.

As part of our “Totsuka Music Town Development Project,” we hold regular live performances at the West Exit Pedestrian Deck in East Exit, Totsuka Station, as well as special live performances in summer and spring. We also conduct “Business Trip Street Live” at local events and other events.
In the vicinity of Totsuka Station and Higashi-Totsuka Station, there are frequent street performances by street musicians and music events by local shopping street Neighborhood Associations. When holding the event, it was necessary to notify road managers and police department, but in some cases, permission was not granted to individuals. Therefore, the shopping streets around the station, music-related organizations, and the government cooperate to organize the "Totsuka Street Live Steering Committee" to support the sound performance activities of street musicians, and create a vibrant and attractive town. We are promoting.
