School zone safety measures
We will organize traffic safety measures at each elementary school and work on traffic safety measures in cooperation with ward offices, Public Works Office, police department, etc.
School Zone Safety Measures Council
We hold meeting to examine traffic safety measures in school zone (school road) that we establish every school.
1 Schedule adjustment of the desired date
When holding the council, please submit the "School Zone Safety Measures Council Holding Date" for schedule adjustment.

2 Submission of Request Form
Please submit a "Request Form" before the council is held to confirm the site and consider countermeasures.
Please be sure to fill in the address and branch number of the Address in the request form.
- Submission deadline: Up to 2 weeks prior to the meeting ※Must arrive

- Number of copies submitted: 3 copies (for ward office, Public Works Office and police department)

3 Submission of Minutes
Please summarize the results of the discussion in the minutes of the meeting and submit it.
- Submission deadline: Within 2 weeks after the end of the council (approximate)
- Submission: Each jurisdiction (Ward Office, Public Works Office, police department)

School zone activities
Totsuka Ward School Zone Safety Measures Grant
This grant will be made to support organizations working to prevent traffic accidents in elementary school student in school zones in Totsuka Ward. The grant will be made up of representatives of PTA, Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, and youth groups, mainly elementary schools in Totsuka Ward.
The maximum amount of the grant is 12,000 yen per year, and the submitted documents will be examined to determine the amount of the grant.

2. Billing
We examine documents of group which applied for grant and send notice of grant or non-grant decision. Organizations that have received the grant decision letter should submit the following documents.
- Copy of school zone security measures activity subsidy grant decision letter of advice (fourth style)

3 Activity Report
The subsidized organization should submit the following documents after the activity ends.

- Activity report (No. 8 style) (word: 17KB)
- Income and Expenditure Statement (No. 9 style) (word: 18KB)
- Copy of documents proving expenditure such as receipts
- Other documents deemed necessary by Director General
