In Tsurumi Ward, we are promoting a multicultural community development that makes it easy for both foreigners and Japanese to live in.

The Tsurumi International Exchange Lounge provides consultation and information provision in foreign languages, supports Japanese language learning, and provides learning support classes for children connected to foreign countries with the aim of creating a multicultural city.

■Information related to daily life and event information is sent at counters, telephones, lounge websites, Facebook, etc.
We also distribute pamphlets and flyers on racks and bulletin boards in the lounge.

■We respond to consultations and various inquiries by counters, telephones, and e-mail in multiple languages. Depending on the day of the week, the available language will vary.

■We offer Japanese language classes and life guidance.

■We offer Japanese language learning support classes (elementary school students, junior high school students, etc.).
