(Lending corner) wakkun costume

The Tsurumi Ward Office rents wakkun costumes for free.
If you wish to use it, please check the “Chugurumi wakkun Office Handling Guidelines (PDF: 131KB)” and the contents described below.
Please submit "wakkun costume use application (word: 18KB)" in advance by the following application (e-mail or bring directly to the counter or fax).
We accept by telephone, but please submit "use application" by the day before you come to borrow costume.

※Since the maintenance of the urethane type has been completed, lending has resumed from March 3, 2025 (Monday).
※"Balloon type" cannot be borrowed due to malfunction. When it becomes available, we will inform you on this page.
　
※Costume rental is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be accepted one month prior to the scheduled date of use.

≪Subject to use≫
Local organizations in Tsurumi Ward (Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, Shoten Association, etc.), schools, non-profit organizations and similar organizations
≪Lending conditions≫
It cannot be used in the following cases.

• Exclusive use as a mascot character of an individual or organization
• Use in activities such as politics, religion, thought, profit, etc.
• Use that violates laws and regulations and public order and morals
• In addition, when it is deemed inappropriate to use the costume

In principle, within 4 days from lending to return

　・You can only rent a costume. People who enter the costume (junior high school students and above). If you are under the age of 18, the consent of the parent / user organization manager is required)
　　Please respond by the application group. (Approximate size: those who are about 155-170cm tall)
　・Please give due consideration to safety when using the service, and be sure to have at least one assistant.
　・Do not get close to fire or water. Outdoor use is not permitted during rainy or stormy weather.
　・It cannot be used for purposes other than those approved. Subleases and modifications to third parties are prohibited.
　・Please carry out and carry out the costume on the applicant's side. In addition, a car is required for transportation.
　・After use, dry well in a well-ventilated place before returning.
　 (Please refrain from directly disinfecting with hypochlorite or alcohol as the material may hurt.)
　・If you are damaged intentionally or by gross negligence, you will be compensated for the damage.

※Depending on the situation of infectious diseases, lending conditions and precautions for use may be changed.

Reception hours is from 8:45 to 17:00 on weekdays (New Year holidays, holidays and Saturday open days are not allowed).

　・The user will be responsible for repair costs in the event of damage to the costume, and for replacement creation costs in the event that repair is difficult.
　・The user shall be liable for damages, etc. in the event of damage to a third party due to the costume.
　・Yokohama City shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to the use of costumes.
