Food Sanitation Officer

It is a designated workshop for those who are engaged as food hygiene managers at city food handling facilities.
The food hygiene manager must attend a food hygiene class (designated class) designated by the mayor or the health center director, and always strive to acquire new knowledge.

All from 14:00 to 15:30 (reception starts at 13:30)

One month before the course, you will be accepted by telephone, fax or electronic application. (The content is the same for each time.)
When applying, please provide 1 desired date 2 location of the store 3 name of the store 4 name of the food hygiene manager 5 contact information.
The application will be closed when the capacity (20 people) is reached. Thank you for your understanding.

There are also designated workshops (paid) organized by the Tsuzuki Ward   Food Sanitation Association.

If you are a business operator, please notify us immediately when you have set up a food hygiene manager or when the business operator becomes a food hygiene manager. .
However, if there is no person who is qualified as a food hygiene manager in a new business, be sure to install it within 3 months after permission.

●Food Sanitation Officer's vote request: It's available at the counter.

●You can become a food hygiene manager in any of the following cases:
1. A person who meets the qualification requirements of a food hygiene supervisor or food hygiene manager
2. Cooks, confectionery hygienists, dietitians, ship cooks
3. And a person in charge of hygiene management or work hygiene as stipulated in the Slaughterhouse Act
4. Poultry processing hygiene manager prescribed in the regulations on poultry processing business and the law on poultry inspection
5. Those who have attended one of the following workshops
　　・Seminar on food hygiene and other public health designated by the director of the health center (training of food hygiene managers)
　　・Food hygiene instructor training course conducted by the Yokohama City Food Sanitation Association

Person who was recognized as food hygiene manager based on the regulations about standard of measures to be taken in public health based on Yokohama-shi food hygiene law before abolition
