Voluntary disaster prevention activities for "Iza". Neighborhood AssociationsNeighborhood Association and Residential Association Condominiums in Tsuzuki Ward  , three consecutive lectures are held for those who are interested in disaster prevention and disaster prevention in disaster drill.

[1st] Finally started! "Lecture to learn hints to enrich community activities" was held.

On Sunday, October 1, the first meeting, which was the start of three consecutive collective consulting, was held.
Lecturer is a fun disaster prevention drill "Iza! Hirokazu Nagata, President of NPO Plus Arts, who produces frog caravan!" nationwide. Under the theme of "a new form of disaster drill that learns well while having fun," they talked about "wind," "water," "soil," and "seed," as well as "disaster prevention x crafts," such as paper tableware using plastic bags and newspapers, andsurvivors's hands-on experience.
After the lecture, 22 participants active in the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and others actively learned examples and know-how, and wrote out what they wanted to do and felt.
Next time, we will discuss ideas to enrich the disaster drill. Based on the first lesson, we will work together to think about disaster drill, a fun learning version of the Tsuzuki Ward   version, with the advice of Mr. Nagata.

The first meeting of collective consulting

[2nd] Pan grandpa also appeared! We held a workshop to think about ideas to enrich the disaster drill.

On Saturday, November 4, the second event was held at the community cafe "Minna no Kitchen" with the cooperation of NPO Roch Maru, which supports work styles and ways of life from the age of 60 in the city. Was.
Condominiums and non-condominiums were divided into groups to think about issues related to disaster prevention activities, and shared the issues and solutions of individual Neighborhood Association organizations.
On the way, "Pan Grandpa", born in the wake of a lecture by NPO Roch Maru, appeared. It is a group that learns bread making through lectures and practical training from bread craftsmen in the city and works. It was a peaceful atmosphere to learn about local activities in Tsuzuki Ward   while enjoying bread and coffee that showed grandpa's skill.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the group presented their discussions and solutions. Hirokazu Nagata, President of NPO Plus Arts, commented on solutions to the issues one by one, and shared ideas for the future.
Next time, we will have a hands-on experience of disaster prevention education programs to learn happily. Based on the first and second lessons, we will pick up and experience the disaster prevention programs provided by Plus Arts, and connect them to the practice of each organization.

Part 2

[3rd] We saw, heard, touched, and held a “Experience session for disaster prevention education programs to learn happily”.

On Saturday, December 2, we held a hands-on experience session that was the last of three consecutive lectures.
The first half is a program to experience as a whole. Mr. Hirokazu Nagata, President of NPO Plus Arts, gave a lecture on "Making paper tableware with a flyer", "Straker time trial with a blanket", and "First Aid Workshop".
First, each participant creates a "hako-shaped" paper tableware using flyers and newspapers around them. While looking at actual photographs used in supply of hot meals training, they were given explanations on how to make them easier for children to understand.
In the stretcher time trial, the four participants who ran for the project were able to learn how to carry stretchers using blankets, and safely finish with the image of practice in the community. The venue was very exciting.
In the first aid workshop, a pair of two people directly experienced compression hemostasis using handkerchiefs and ties around them. I spoke to each other and practiced it through trial and error.
In the second half, it was divided into groups of 5 to 6 people, "Making ponchos with garbage bags" and "What is the disaster prevention goods at home?" Experience five booths: Quiz, Jack Up Game, Flood picture story show, Disaster Prevention Card Game. Volunteer staff of NPO Plus Arts explained the features and points of each booth's program, and many seemed to be enthusiastically experienced.
This collective consulting was conducted to enhance the appeal of Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations. Participants commented, "I got a new idea," "I had an experience that would make young people and children want to participate," and "I can make training fun." By all means, I hope you can bring your ideas back to each region and make use of them.
