Basic knowledge of the Hayabuchi River 2

Basic knowledge

Q.Is there a place where you can interact with water in the Hayabuchi River?
Where can I get off to the water?

When the river was renovated, it was developed as an urban river surrounded by concrete and fences. Recently, seven "water staircases" that descend to the Hayabuchi River have been improved in response to disasters. Two of them are usually locked, but the remaining five can descend to the surface of the river with caution.
In addition, a waterfront plaza is under construction where the subway connecting Centerminami and the north crosses the Hayabuchi River.

Q.Japan's best (the best in the world?) Is there anything you can say?
Also, is there anything that can only be found in the Hayabuchi River?

It is difficult to find the best in Japan in the Hayabuchi River. The main stream Tsurumi River has the largest population per basin among 109 first-class rivers nationwide.
(Basin area is 235 square kilometers, basin population is about 1.88 million, population density is 8,000 / square kilometer. The tributary of the Hayabuchi River has a basin area of 24.6 square kilometers, a basin population of about 179,000, and a population density of 7,276 / square kilometers).
In addition, there is data that the Tsurumi River is the best in Japan for users per unit area such as "walking", "fishing" and "playing in the water".

Q.Where is the government office that manages (in charge) the Hayabuchi River?
And what laws and regulations do you have?

The Hayabuchi River is a tributary of the Tsurumi River, the water system is a first-class river, and the national government (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Keihin River Office) is the river manager. However, the direct control section is 1.6 km, and upstream from the Daisan Keihin Expressway (Takadabashi), Kanagawa Prefecture (Yokohama Flood Control Office) manages 8.2 km to Nakamura Ohashi in Azamino as a designated section.
Further upstream and the Nunokawa River, a tributary of the Hayabuchi River, are managed by Yokohama City (Shimo-Water Works Bureau River).
River management laws include the River Law. With the revision of the River Law in 1997, in addition to "flood control" and "water use", "environment" have been added to the purpose of river management.

Q.I want to clean the water quality of the Hayabuchi River and "I want you to maintain hydrophilic conditions." Please let me know if there is an organization that is doing such an approach?

If it is a facility maintenance, the Hayabuchi River in the ward is managed by Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama City depending on the location, so it is a good idea to consult with the ward office.
If you want to cooperate in picking up trash in the river and cleaning it up, you can participate in the work by consulting the ward office or contacting an area or an organization that suits you.
