The family register window (2nd floor 15th window) and the resident registration and Seal Registration My Number Card window (2nd floor 12th window) are open from 9:00 am to noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturday.
Saturday open agency is often more crowded than on weekdays, and some procedures may ask you to keep it or return to the agency at a later date.
Therefore, we apologize to the customer, but we ask that you confirm the following points and come to the Agency.
About waiting time
Notifications are concentrated on Saturday open agency days, and the window is very crowded. Depending on the congestion situation, you may have to wait a long time (up to 2 hours or more in total) until reception or from reception to handing over regardless of the content of the notification. Please come with plenty of time in advance.
In addition, reduction of parking fee is limited to 60 minutes in principle, regardless of congestion.
resident certificate, Seal Registration certification (*1) and family register certification (except some) can be received outside of the ward office.

If you have a My Number card, you can get a resident certificate Seal Registration certificate (*1) and a family register certificate (9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays) at a convenience store.

(2) Get online
You need a My Number Card, a smartphone compatible with My Number Card, and a credit card.

(3) Acquisition by mail (Yokohama City Mail Request Office)

It usually takes about 10 days from mailing to receiving the certificate.

Except for holidays (including transfer holidays) and the year-end and New Year holidays, Saturday and Sunday are also available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

(*1) “Seal Registration Procedure” is handled only by ward offices in Address. If you have not registered, you will not be able to pick it up at the administrative service corner or convenience store.
Procedures to be kept
If the following procedures cannot be processed unless you refer to other municipalities or schools, you may be asked to keep them or return to the agency at a later date.
Please confirm beforehand about documents necessary for each report and request, and come to the next agency.
(1) Notification of transfer from overseas
(2) If you do not have required documents, etc. for admission to elementary and junior high schools or transfer procedures and refer to schools, etc.
(3) When it is necessary to submit a family register notification to a municipal office outside the city and confirm the contents of the notification.
If you have a certificate of acceptance, you can accept it.
(4) Residential indication application (building change notice)
(5) Notification of family register related to birth registration form and marriage registration form
If you need to contact other municipalities or other organizations, and you can not confirm because the contact information is closed, it will be treated as custody.
Operations that cannot be handled
(1) In cases where inquiries are required from other municipalities, such as regional delivery of resident certificate
(2) Procedures related to restrictions on issuance of copies of resident certificate, etc.
In addition to the above, procedures related to some elementary and junior high schools may not be handled depending on the content of the project. Thank you for your understanding.
