Let's go through the procedure for your dog!
Registration of domestic dogs
If you have a dog, you must register your dog and attach a dog's license tag under the Rabies Prevention Act.
Registration must be made within 30 days from the day you start keeping the dog (for puppy, the day after the dog is 90 days old).
Once you register, you will receive a dog's license tag (silver metal plate). Be sure to wear it on your dog's collar.
Registration is valid for a lifetime of one dog.
(If you have received a registered dog, you will need to change the owner.)

Procedures for registering dogs

- Dogs with microchips older than 91 days may be registered with local governments other than Yokohama. Please check the following information before contacting us.
・Microchip number
・Whether or not a dog owner change registration has been made with a registered organization designated by the Ministry of the Environment and the date of implementation
・Information of the old owner (purchase source) (name, Address or store name, location)
・Dog information (name, date of birth, type)
- If you have lost or damaged dog's license tag, you can apply for a reissue of dog's license tag.

If you have a dog, you must have rabies vaccination receive it once a year, receive a rabies vaccination vote and attach it to your dog.
When you submit the notification, you will be issued an injection slip (colored metal plate). Be sure to wear it on your dog's collar.

Note 2: The rabies vaccination Form Grant Application Form is sent to registered dog owners around late March every year.

Disposal of the body
Please consult the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Aoba Office (TEL: 045-975-0025) for disposal of the body.
If you would like individual cremation, please consult Totsuka Saijo (TEL: 045-864-7001) or a private pet funeral company.

Take a walk after excreting!
Many consultations have been received, such as "The manure is left unattended and odors and dirt are in trouble."
It is the owner's duty to treat feces.
Discipline to excrete at home before taking a walk, and be sure to bring your feces back if you excrete during a walk.
Aoba Ward is promoting "walking manners for dogs that go one step further."
Urine can cause odors to remain just by pouring water. Take care of "one step forward" such as wearing a manner belt or diaper, and sucking urine with pet sheets.
