On Saturday, February 16, 2019, the 8th Kirat Asahi Welfare Convention was held at the Asahi public hall Auditorium.
At the Kirat Asahi Welfare Tournament, we recognize the achievements of those who have been involved in welfare and health activities in the community for many years, as well as the efforts of the Kirat Asahi Plan (3rd Asahi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan), We introduce welfare and health activities and disseminate information useful for our activities.
This time, the first part was the opening act (taiko performance) and the award ceremony, and the second part was a lecture on the theme of "realization of a community-friendly society and watching over the community" and a case report on local initiatives. Was.

Part 2 Theme "Realization of a community-friendly society and watching over the community"
Keynote speech
Dr. Toshiaki Wada, Professor Emeritus of Lutheran Gakuin University, gave a lecture on the theme of "Realization of a community-friendly society and watching over the community." Dr. Wada told us that, as social isolation has deepened due to social changes, it is important to promote the community development, which is led by residents, to realize a community-based society in which all people, including children, the elderly and disabled, can create and support each other.

Case Report: Creation of Connections in the Wakabadai Area
As local approach report, there was announcement from Wakabadai district about approach of plan according to Asahi plan district clearly. He said that with the theme of "prevention of isolation", he first discussed "isolation" in the area and worked on sharing the image.
