Children's Future Discovery Project
We hold hands-on events for young people to deepen various interests and interests.
GREEN x EXPO 2027 momentum cultivation event "Let's design" what we should have in our town 50 years later "
Junior high school students challenge the significance of holding GREEN x EXPO 2027, "Proposal to create a sustainable and well-being society in harmony with nature." Professional designers run side by side and learn science fiction imagination and ideas while designing and drawing the future 50 years from now! In addition, the work I drew will be exhibited on the first floor of the city hall in late January!
Outline of the event
1 Painting Production Workshop
Date and time: From 9:00 to 15:30 on Sunday, December 8, 2024
<Main Schedule>
9:00 ~ Know (Explanation of GREEN x EXPO 2027, introduction of designers, etc.)
10:00 ~ Think (design something good for the future)
12:00~ Break
13:00 ~ Draw (Draw the thoughts in the morning on A3 size paper with paint etc.)
15:00 ~ Presentation (announcing the picture drawn and what you thought)
From 15:30 to end
Target: Junior high school students in Asahi Ward (including private junior high schools)
Venue: Asahi Ward Office New Building Large Conference Room (2nd floor of the New Building of Asahi Ward General Government Building 1-4-12 Tsurugamine, Asahi-ku, Yokohama)
Capacity: About 12 people ※In the case of a large number of applicants, lottery will be held.
Participation fee: Free of charge
Belongings: Lunch, drinks, writing instruments
※You do not need to bring the necessary items such as paints necessary for the production of the work.
※We will use paints on the day, so please come in clothes that can be dirty.

Profile
Born in Asahikawa, living in Yokohama. He runs alongside as a designer from planning to Blanding and promotion of companies and products, launching new businesses, etc. He has been involved in various productions such as logos, graphics, packages, webs, video, apparel, products, space, etc.
Comment
Space ships, submarines, communication satellites, videophones, etc. were originally "future technology" drawn by science fiction novelists only with imagination.
With the development of AI and cloning technology, and the basic framework of humans and society is about to change, there is a need for "sci-fi imagination" to imagine a "future without experience at all." This time, junior high school students will design something that coexists with nature that we would like to be in 50 years by combining the power of nature and the role of society with the issues of their own town and living.

・The copyright of the work belongs to Yokohama City.
・The works will be exhibited in Asahi Ward after the exhibition in late January 2025.
※If you wish to return it, we will inform you of the timing separately.
・When exhibiting works, we will publish the name of the painting, the name of the creator, the name of the school, and the grade.
・We will photograph the state of the workshop and the scenery of the venue and use it as publicity materials.
