Overview
If an elderly person becomes infected with COVID-19 infection, there is a high risk of severe illness, and if infected, it may lead to an increase in deaths, an increase in the number of seriously injured persons, and a tightness in the medical provision system.
In particular, in facilities for the elderly, the impact of the occurrence of the cluster will be extremely large, so if you are planning to enter a new facility for the elderly, you will be fully subsidized.
Eligible recipients of the grant
Among those who meet all of the following 1-4, those who wish to inspect are eligible.
- Elderly people aged 65 or older living in Motoichi
- Currently living at home, and in the future, enter or enter a nursing home for the elderly, a nursing home for the elderly, a group home for the elderly with dementia, a paid nursing home with nursing care, a nursing home for the elderly, a nursing home for the elderly, or a short stay service in Yokohama. - Those who can take the test in an environment prepared by the test medical institution
- Those who have no symptoms such as fever suspected of being infected with COVID-19 infection
- This project is conducted in close contact,employee health insurance, etc., under the guidance of health centers and doctors deem it necessary for the treatment of patients.
- This project subsidizes the cost of the test if the prospective resident wishes to take the test, and will not be eligible for the subsidy if not.
Number of inspections
In principle, the test that can be taken by this project is once per person.
Remarks: Inspections for administrative and insurance coverage are not included in the number of times

Flow from application to payment
- Yokohama City will ask the facilities scheduled to enter the facility to disseminate this project.
- This project will be introduced from the facilities to those who are planning to enter. If the prospective admission wishes to take the test and agrees to all the contents described in the “Inspection Application Form”, the facility to be admitted will be sent to the prospective admission person or his / her family from the “List of Examination Medical Institutions”. - Applicants or family members will make a reservation for a PCR test. ※If you cancel or change your reservation, the prospective resident will contact the reserved medical institution.
- Testing medical institutions, etc. will carry out PCR tests and fill out all the required items (test medical institution name, test conductor name, test date, test sample) in the "test application form". Regardless of whether positive or negative, the test results will be communicated to prospective residents (or their families, etc.) by telephone from the test medical institution.
- Those who plan to enter will report the test results to the facilities they plan to enter.
- Testing medical institutions, etc. will request the “Result Report for PCR Testing and Consignment Fee” by attaching the “Inspection Application Form”.
- Yokohama City will pay a commission through a designated financial institution based on the invoice.
Remarks: Definitive diagnosis when the test result is positive is not covered by this project.
