　When a medical institution installs or increases a bed in the city, a medical institution will be established within the range that does not exceed the "standard number of beds" specified in the "Health and Medical Plan" of Kanagawa Prefecture prior to the establishment permission based on the Medical Law. 　General beds and medical treatment beds
(For psychiatric beds, tuberculosis beds, and infectious disease beds, please consult Kanagawa Prefecture because the standard number of beds is set in the entire area of Kanagawa Prefecture.)

　Investigate the number of existing beds on the reference date set by Kanagawa Prefecture (usually April 1), and if it is less than the standard beds for each medical area specified in the Kanagawa Health and Medical Plan, listen to the opinions of the Yokohama City Health and Medical Council, etc. We carry out bed maintenance prior consultation when it is deemed necessary.
