About conduct of bed maintenance prior consultation in 2015

As of March 31, 2015, the number of existing beds in the northern part of Yokohama secondary health care area was less than the standard beds stipulated in the Kanagawa Prefecture Health and Medical Plan, so about the installation of general beds and medical treatment beds, We perform prior consultation about bed maintenance. About prior consultation of 2015, based on citizen needs or the maintenance situation of medical institution, we decide to allocate to business plan about establishment of bed carrying bed function to raise next preferentially.

1.Target bed
"Recuperation bed" and "general bed" specified in the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the Medical Law
2.Target secondary health care area
As of March 31, 2015, the secondary health and medical area where the number of existing beds is less than the standard beds stipulated in the Kanagawa Prefecture Health and Medical Plan is lower than the standard beds stipulated in the Kanagawa Prefecture Health and Medical Plan.

3.Eligibility
・ Those who wish to open a hospital or increase the number of beds in the hospital
・ Those who wish to set up beds in clinics or increase the number of beds in clinics
・ As a general rule, it must be a business plan to apply for permission (change permission) of hospitals, etc. by November 30, 2016.
※ We will conduct interviews with those planning to establish and confirm the contents of the business plan.

5.Application deadline
Until Monday, November 30, 2015
※ Prior consultation will be held during the application period, so if you are planning prior consultation, please contact the agency after adjusting the schedule by telephone in advance.
6.About schedule of prior consultation

7.Basic Approach to Examination
(1) Do not violate relevant laws and regulations.
※ Including the status of coordination with the City Planning Act, the National Land Use Planning Act, the Urban Redevelopment Act, the Agricultural Land Law and other related laws and regulations pertaining to plans for opening hospitals, etc.
(2) Consistency with the Kanagawa Health and Medical Plan.
(3) There must be certainty in plans for opening hospitals, etc.
