Asahi-ku, Yokohama City is the land of the end of Shigetada Hatakeyama, a warlord who played an active part in the Kamakura period.
In the ward, there are many tourist resources such as historical sites related to Shigetada Hatakeyama and the "Asahi no Gem Shigetada Brand", which independently certified food and drinks related to Shigetada Hatakeyama.
The Taiga drama series "13 people in Kamakura-dono," which has been broadcast since January 2022, will promote the appeal of Asahi Ward as an opportunity.
