A planning program for international conferences by students will start to develop MICE human resources!

　Yokohama City will launch the YOKOHAMA MICE Challenge, a program to solve problems related to MICE in collaboration with students from the perspective of fostering the next generation and revitalizing the MICE industry. This project is a co-creation type program that solves MICE issues in Yokohama City based on proposals and practices by students in the city.
　In fiscal 2024, students participating as part of university internships will be given credits for university classes in order to carry out the project in cooperation with the Yokohama City University Tourism Management Laboratory (Takayuki Arima Seminar).
　This time, as a place for the first practice of the program, we will provide tourist information at the MSEAS International Conference and promote the appeal of Yokohama. In addition, as a place for the second practice, we plan to plan and operate an excursion at the International Youth Conference on Biodiversity in August.
