When Yokohama City served as Japan's first city in the "East Asian Cultural City" started in 2014, the "East Asian Cultural City Friendship and Cooperation City Agreement" was signed with Senshu City, China, and Gwangju Metropolitan City, Korea, which were both the first cities. We have been conducting inter-city exchanges through cultural arts since 2015.
