May is the month of strengthening bicycle manners in nine prefectures!

May is designated as Bicycle Month according to the Bicycle Utilization Promotion Act. In conjunction with the Bicycle Month, the Tokyo Metropolitan Area Bicycle Safety Use Countermeasures Council, which consists of nine prefectures (Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba, Saitama, and Sagamihara) Every May is designated as “Kine Prefectural City Simultaneous Bicycle Manner Up Enhancement Month”, and we will work together to promote the safe use of bicycles. In Yokohama-shi, we work on enlightenment so that it becomes opportunity to re-recognize traffic rules and manners for safe and comfortable use of bicycles for citizens.
