From Monday, November 7 to Wednesday, November 9, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Philippi Grand Die, Philippine, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
Mr. Filippo GRANDI, The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will visit Japan for the purpose of sharing information and exchanging opinions on the current situation and response to the increasingly serious refugee crisis around the world, and strengthening cooperation between Japan and UNHCR.
On Monday, November 7, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Grand Die visited Yokohama as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation with local governments in Japan, and exchanged opinions on multicultural measures and local government leadership in the international community through meeting with Mayor Yokohama and Vice-Chairman Yokohama City Council. In addition, lectures will be held at the Yokohama City Council Capitol for city council members and city officials.
