The station name "Odoriba" is derived from a local folk tale called "the place where cats were dancing in the past", and the station building is decorated with cats everywhere and has been selected as one of the "100 Kanto Stations". Over the week before and after the Cat Day on February 22 (Nyan Nyan Nyan), cat-related events will be held, such as panel displays and revival sales of design tickets.
