Increased in cargo volume, container cargo volume and volume handled by the same period of the previous year.
Ports at Yokohama Port in the first half of 2021 continue to be affected by the prolonged expansion of COVID-19 infection, but cargo volume handled by foreign trade increased by 11.4% year-on-year and is approaching cargo volume before the pandemic, down 6.2% year-on-year.
Exports of finished vehicles and auto parts, which are the main varieties of exports, also exceeded the previous year, driving a recovery.
