In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, Yokohama City, Kawasaki City and the Kanto Regional Development Bureau launched the Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port CNP Study Group in February 2021, and announced the results of the study on April 2.
Furthermore, in response to the accelerating movement toward decarbonization since April 2021, Yokohama City, Kawasaki City and the Kanto Regional Development Bureau launched the Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port Carbon Neutral Port (CNP) Formation Promotion Council in July 2021, and is considering specific initiatives for CNP formation.
We are pleased to announce that the Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port Carbon Neutral Port (CNP) Seminar will be held for related parties in order to foster momentum toward the formation of CNPs at Yokohama Port and Kawasaki Port and to accelerate their efforts.
