"Urban Design Yokohama" Exhibition-Creating Individuality and Attractive Town-Overview Decision!

　In 1971, Yokohama's urban design was established in the city hall ahead of the rest of the country, and has been promoting it for 50 years. During this time, we have created urban spaces while drawing a grand design for each region, and have been working together with the people of the city and companies, such as creating attractiveness that values local resources such as water, greenery, and Historic buildings, and creating landscapes unique to Yokohama.
　In this exhibition, we look back on the 50 years we have accumulated so far, and introduce the specific initiatives of urban design that we have taken with the times toward “Yokohama, a city with individuality and charm”.
