Following the improvement of the JR Kannai-sta.-kitaguchi station building in April 2018, we have been improving pedestrian spaces such as roofs and sidewalks to create continuity and bustling areas with surrounding urban areas. The construction of "Kannai-sta.-kitaguchi Square" in front of the station north exit ticket gate has been completed, and will begin operation on March 30, 2022 (Wednesday).
