Press release material (March 2, 2005) / Guidelines (draft) Opinion solicitation
Last updated on March 6, 2019.
You can pass with confidence even during construction.
It's the first time in Japan! Please send your opinion to the "Barrier-free Measures Guidelines for Pedestrians during Construction (draft)".
Yokohama City is promoting various initiatives for the maintenance of pedestrian spaces.
Barrier-free measures for pedestrians during construction are also provided individually, but due to construction, the usability of roads that you are used to on a daily basis will change significantly, and pedestrians may be confused. Especially for people with disabilities, it is an issue that may be a heavy burden.
So
- We will create "Barrier-Free Measures Guidelines for Pedestrians under Construction" that summarizes basic matters to be considered for pedestrians during construction.
- We will recruit opinions from citizens widely and reflect them in the guidelines and establish them around June.
