Barrier-free promotion guidelines for pedestrians under construction
Last updated on April 1, 2023.
Due to the construction, the usability of the road you are used to on a daily basis changes greatly, making it difficult to walk or inconvenient. In addition, even minor changes due to construction may be a heavy burden for the elderly and the disabled.
Therefore, in order to enhance the sense of security of pedestrians even during construction work, we will continue to improve the safety of pedestrians.
We have formulated the "Barrier-Free Promotion Guidelines for Pedestrians during Construction" and have been implementing them since July 1, 2005.
In formulating the guidelines, opinions were solicited and guidelines were formulated reflecting many opinions received.
