Are there any conditions for applying for a municipal cemetery?
When applying, it is necessary to meet the following conditions in principle.
(1)Those who have lived in Yokohama City for more than 3 months and have resident registration in Yokohama City at the time of qualification screening.
(2)1 application per household
(3)Applicants for the “Ashes Retention Category” are those who actually store or store ashes at home or temporary storage facilities.
In order to confirm these conditions, you will be required to submit documents such as resident certificate and Fire Burial Permit at the time of qualification screening.

Details of the application will be announced in the application form "Yokohama Municipal Cemetery / charnel house Application Bookmark" distributed at the ward office and administrative service corner during the application period.
Applications will be accepted only by mail using the dedicated application form.
