I have joined the medical system for elder senior citizens and have a specific illness. Is there a reduction in self-pay?

A

If you have a specific disease (hemophilia, chronic renal failure requiring dialysis, HIV infection caused by the administration of blood coagulation factor products), you can present a “special disease medical treatment receipt” to one medical institution. The monthly co-payment is up to 10,000 yen.
(Only the amount of treatment received.) It applies to the same month and the same medical institution for each outpatient and hospitalization. The income category does not matter. )
If applicable, please apply to the ward office of Insurance and Pension Division National Health Insurance Section.

What is required for application

・Elderly medical care insured person card (insurance card) or qualification confirmation
・A copy of the doctor's certificate or the “Specific Illness Treatment Receipt” of the medical insurance you have subscribed to.
・(When an adult guardian has been appointed) A copy of the certificate of entry, etc.
