"Refund letter of advice such as city tax error payment" is news to return overpaid tax. "Appropriation letter such as city tax error payment" is news that we applied overpaid tax to unpaid collection money.

Procedures for Receiving Refunds

When we fund transfer city tax or when there is account which we returned in the past, we transfer to account listed in letter of advice.
If the "Refund Transfer Request Form" is enclosed, please fill out required items and send it in a reply envelope.

※In principle, the account receiving the refund is in the name of the principal.

If the return deadline of the “Refund Account Transfer Request Form” has passed

You can return it after the return deadline, so please return it as soon as possible.
If five years have passed since the date of notification, it cannot be refunded due to prescription.

About the period until transfer of refund

If the return deadline has passed, the funds will be transferred to your designated account in approximately two weeks to one month.

If the person receiving the refund is dead

A "claim" is required.
You can transfer money to the heir's account.
