Where can I get a tax payment certificate?
You can apply by ward office Tax Division, administrative service corner, online or mail.

What I need
・Identity verification documents (My Number Card, etc.) of those who come to the counter
・Fee 300 yen per tax per year (free tax certificate for vehicle inspection of light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) (by type) is free)
・Power of Attorney, etc. (if applied by proxy/agent)
Online application
You can apply online using your My Number Card (only the taxpayer).
I will send the certificate to Address, where resident certificate is located in about 2 days to 1 week.
Application by mail
Please send the following documents to the ward office Tax Division Tax Receipt Section, where you are taxed.
- Application (we can download from Yokohama-shi electronic application service (outside site).)
- Fixed amount postal money order or ordinary money order for the fee (purchased at post office)
- A reply envelope with a stamp and the address (the taxpayer's Address)
