Have you ever felt that there are few opportunities for local residents and foreign residents to interact with each other even though you want to know more about each other?
Therefore, we will offer introductory courses for supporters who can learn with friends so that local residents and foreign residents can interact in the area and promote multicultural coexistence.
Let's learn about foreign cultures and rediscover the charm of Japanese culture by introducing each other's culture.
In this course, participants can plan events with each other, and after the course is over, we will support you until the actual challenge of holding the event.

Held a multicultural symbiosis exhibition by "Multicultural Symbiosis Supporters Hanamomo"

We will hold a multicultural symbiosis exhibition by a volunteer group "Multicultural Symbiosis Supporters Hanamomomo", which was formed mainly by friends who attended the multicultural symbiosis town development supporter course!
We will display folk crafts from each city that celebrated the 55th anniversary of the Yokohama City Sister City Partnership, folk costumes, percussion instruments, and rare goods such as the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Panama! (The contents of the exhibition are subject to change.) Thank you for your understanding.

[Period] ： From Saturday, October 24, Reiwa 2 to Wednesday, November 4　※October twenty-fourth is only in the morning. It will not be held on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays except on this day.

I would like to introduce some of the exhibits!

Of this exhibition, the exhibition of the Republic of Panama is being exhibited by borrowing folk art from the Embassy of the Republic of Panama in Japan.
The exhibits in the photo are "Chung gas" and "Tumbola".
Chunggas is a basket made of beautiful palm fibers, and tambola is one of the Panama folk instruments originating in Africa.
In addition, folk crafts from the Republic of Panama are on display. Please enjoy the charm of the Republic of Panama.

Open lecture "How to live with foreign nationals in the community"　※It's finished

Prior to holding the course, an open lecture will be held as an opportunity to learn about multicultural symbiosis widely.
Even those who do not participate in the "Multicultural Symbiosis Community Development Supporter Course" can participate only in this open lecture, so please invite us and apply.
