About bees
Every summer, a lot of bee extermination consultations are sent to Health and Welfare Center. We do not exterminate bees by the ward office staff, but we advise on methods of extermination and introduce extermination companies. But bees don't like to stab people. Because it feeds on horticultural and agricultural pests, it also has an aspect that can be said to be "profit insects". It is also important to judge calmly whether you really need extermination.
About the characteristics of beehives that are often consulted
Bees that often build nests at home include hornets and paper wasps.
It can be easily identified in the shape of a nest.

About extermination of paper wasp nest
Paper wasps are less aggressive than hornets, so they may be relatively easy to get rid of them yourself.
Here, we will introduce safer extermination methods, but do not guarantee that they will not be stabbed.
If you are allergic, never get rid of it yourself.
When using insecticide, be sure to tell neighbors in advance that they will use drugs to get rid of bees.
insecticide's preparation
insecticide prepares one for flies ka (including pyrethroid as active ingredient).
Recently, insecticide for bee removal has also been sold.
It has a strong injection power, and the drug sprays linearly about 3 to 5 meters.
Observation and preparation of beehives
During the day, check the wasp and the position of the nest.
I'll clean up something that would disturb the work.
Confirmation of work clothes
Wear a hat with long sleeves and long pants. Avoid black-colored ones.
Wear gloves (such as gloves) and wrap a towel around your neck (do not expose your skin) 。
In the case of outdoors, wear boots and shoes that are easy to move (avoid sandals etc. because they are easy to stumble) 。
Extermination work
Performed in the evening when the bee activity subsides (sunset to about 1 hour).
Make sure there is no traffic.
Investigate the wind direction, approach the nest from the wind, and spray the insecticide for a few seconds.
The bees fly all at once, but do not attack the person who is taking the medicine.
If the bees are frightened, leave the place once, a while, and then reapply the nest.
insecticide's bee will soon die if they fly away.
Do not stand directly below, as bees will fall from above when spraying from just below the nest.
When working, keep small children away.
Even fallen bees may stab reflectively, so do not touch them with bare hands.
Clean-up
Cleanup will be done the next day after it becomes brighter.
Once again, place insecticide and make sure there are no bees before dropping the nest.
Please crush the nest and dispose of it as garbage.
About extermination of hornet's nest
Even if the nest is small, it is difficult to get rid of hornets yourself, so the ward office recommends that you remove them with a trader.
