Neighborhood Association Minezawacho, Okazawacho, Hodogaya Ward, was awarded the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award at Road Contact Month.
Neighborhood Association's activities, including road cleaning activities, special measures against illegal dumping and the development of the collection site in line with road conditions, were highly evaluated. Thank you very much.

State of the discussion meeting held after the presentation ceremony
Minezawacho Okazawacho Neighborhood Association is famous for its "hydrangea festival" held at Takinogawa Hydrangea Road in early June every year. The Hanasaki Kase Corps, a volunteer of a senior citizen club who has been planted and maintained 800 hydrangeas in the promenade of Takinogawa River, was awarded the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in 2006.
In 1998, Hodogaya Ward established the Magagaya Flower Charter to promote the creation of a clean and beautiful city that is full of flowers and greenery and is friendly to people and nature.
The creation of a clean and beautiful city as set forth in the Flower Charter is supported by the activities of many people, including the Minezawacho Okazawacho Neighborhood Association, which was awarded this time. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the people of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, the members of the Environmental Business Promotion Committee, the Park Protection Association, Hama Road Supporters, Flower Mates, and everyone who has grown and cleaned up flowers and greenery in the community.
