The area around the park is surrounded by the Nishiya water purification plant, making it a relatively natural area in Hodogaya Ward. On the north side of the park, Katabira River, Soutetsu Line and National Route 16 run east and west, and on the plateau on the west side, large-scale residential areas such as the Nishihara Housing Complex and the Kunugidai housing complex are in close contact with each other.
