About evacuation sites to be opened in the event of storm and flood damage

Evacuation means "evacuation" of "difficulty" and going to evacuation sites is not the only evacuation behavior. Please consider in advance such as "evacuation at home" when you can secure your safety at home or selecting a house for friends and relatives living in a safe area as place of refuge.

If it is difficult to evacuate from home and evacuate to evacuation sites, please note the following:
1 Please bring your own minimum necessary items such as drinking water and food.
2 From the viewpoint of infection prevention measures, please bring a mask etc. as necessary and try to take action with care to prevent infection.
Please refrain from evacuation by car. Occupation of the premises by car, increase the risk of accidents and secondary disaster, and hinder evacuation behavior.
4. There are ward office staff in evacuation sites, so please cooperate in responding to instructions (such as filling out the refugee card and using the facilities).

・In Yokohama, the city has identified cliffs that could cause significant damage to houses in the event of a landslide, and has designated an immediate evacuation warning area that will issueevacuation warninglandslide alert information at the same time.

・If the landslide alert information is announced in the southern part of Yokohama, the evacuation warning will be issued in the immediate evacuation warning area within Isogo Ward. When the evacuation warning is issued, the ward office staff will open the evacuation sites.

・The following evacuation sites is not limited to landslide, but also applies to floods and other floods. Isogo Ward will open six evacuation sites locations in the event of storm and flood damage. Each time a local disaster occurs, the ward office staff coordinates with the facility staff to secure the evacuation sites.

The temporary breeding place in evacuation sites during storms and floods is never the best place for pets. Consider using a pet hotel or evacuating to relatives and acquaintances' homes in advance.
