About disaster prevention speaker and tsunami warning transmission system

The tsunami warning transmission system was installed around the coast as tsunami countermeasure in 2013 after Great East Japan Earthquake. Since then, as an expansion of information transmission means, "disaster prevention speakers" have been installed inland areas.
Although there are some differences in power supply and function between disaster prevention speakers and tsunami warning transmission systems, the basic structure and operation are similar. The broadcast content of the speakers installed in Isogo Ward will be the same.
At present, the tsunami warning transmission system is organized and operated as a disaster prevention speaker.
