We held "learning meeting to think about right protection of person with a disability"!

The Isogo Ward Independence Support Council, which considers the livable community development for people with disabilities, held an online learning session on February 9, 2022.
The keynote speech and the summary of the study session were taken by Professor Toshihiko Suzuki, Professor of Izumi Junior College. More than 50 people from support organizations for persons with disabilities in the city participated, and divided into groups of about 5 people and exchanged opinions on how to prevent abuse of persons with disabilities and support their decision-making.
The number of people with disabilities living in a familiar area is increasing year by year, and those who have difficulty deciding on their own will will become even more important in the future for the community development, where they can live with peace of mind by reflecting their own will. We will continue to work with people with disabilities in Isogo Ward to create a more livable community development.
