Introduction of Hitorizawa Citizen's Forest
Hitorizawa Citizen's Forest is a citizen's forest that straddles the Isogo Ward, Kanazawa Ward and Sakae Ward. The Ooka River is located in a special conservation area near Mount Enkai. In this lush forest, you can feel the babbling of the clear stream and get acquainted with wild birds and insects that you can not see in the city. In addition, a "nature commentary panel" is set up so you can learn about nature while touching the greenery.
From the Nabana Rest Area, you can see Tokyo Bay, Yokosuka and Boso peninsula, and from Ishindo Square, Izu, Hakone and Mount Fuji. It is a forest where you can enjoy a sense of unity with nature while being embraced by a beautiful landscape.
There are two fine maple trees just after the "Oyato Rest Area".
