(Image: 108KB)This is the oldest animal quarantine station in Japan, built in 1903. As the headquarters of animal quarantine stations nationwide, we conduct tests for infectious diseases and pests of animals coming from overseas.
You can't usually enter the premises, but it's a famous cherry blossom spot to enjoy viewing from Yahatabashi, from the opposite bank of the Horiwari River, or from inside the Negishi Line.
