Health activity promotion staff
1 What is a health activity promotion member?
Health activity promotion staff engages in health promotion activities such as lifestyle-related diseases prevention in the community as a promoter of local health promotion and as a partner in administrative health measures.
It is expected to carry out activities to support the health of local people as a promoter in the area of "Third Health Yokohama 21", which is a guideline for health promotion measures in Yokohama City.
2 Organization of Health Activity Promotion Committee
Health activity promotion members work in district and ward units.
3 Activities of Health Activity Promotion Members
（１） Planning and practice of health promotion activities
The Health Activity Promotion Committee plans and implements learning sessions on health, such as exercise and smoking cessation, and spreads knowledge to many people.
（２） The role of a link between the government and the region (information exchange and sharing)
Communicate information and opinions about local health to Health and Welfare Center.
In addition, we will work together to promote health through cooperation in the health promotion business conducted by Health and Welfare Center, such as the Third Health Yokohama 21.
（３） Promotion of community-based welfare health
We carry out various community-based welfare health activities for local health promotion.
4 Training, etc.
（１） Training
You have the opportunity to take training to learn knowledge and methods related to health promotion.
（２） Long-term Service Award
For those who have been active for many years, there is a service award system.

The health promotion staff is commissioned by the mayor at the recommendation of Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association. When recommending a new health activity promotion member, we recommend a new health activity promotion member.
