National Pension System
National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin) is a system in which anyone living in Japan who is between the ages of 20 and 60 must join and receive a basic pension.
As of March 31, 2024, Kanagawa Ward has a total of 27,483 first insured persons and voluntary members, or 11.0% of the ward population.
※No. 1 Insured: Agriculture, self-employed persons, etc. who have Address in Japan and are between 20 and 60 years old
※Optional Subscriber: People over 60 years old who have continued to join, etc.
